Death & Burial Records

There were several cemeteries in the Village of Freeport at the turn of the twentieth century; namely the Freeport cemetery and the Presbyterian cemetery.  The cemeteries were located on Pine Street between Church Street and Grove Street (now known as Guy Lombardo Avenue).  After the cemeteries were deemed a Village eye-sore, all plots were moved to the Greenfield Cemetery in Uniondale, New York.

The following documents were transcribed from records recording Freeport residents burial plots from both cemeteries.  These documents are in the PDF and you will need Adobe Reader to view them.  If you need assistance obtaining this free software, please see Adobe.com or go to our FAQ page.
